She was the first Latina to ever create, produce and write her own show for a network. Born in Texas then later moved into Los Angeles later to further her career. She's been in guest roles in TV shows like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She also wrote scripts for Mind of Mencia, a TV series Mind of Mencia.
